The very first welds I ever made are visible on the welder. It was made almost entirely out of free microwaves off craigslist, including the transformers, cooling fan, metal cage and white sheet metal casing. It deceptively weighs about 40lbs as it just contains metal block transformers, the heaviest part of a microwave. The 20amp breaker on/off switch ensures the welder will always trip before the hard breaker. It only has one power setting: all the power you can squeeze from a 120v outlet.
