This folding lamp is inspired by an umbrella. As the weighted top is pushed over, the long arm follows and carbon rods push apart a diffusing screen surrounding the lamp-head and providing bright, even lighting for a comfortable work environment.

This shoe was designed after the idea of tongueless waterproof sports shoe. The removal of the tongue means the shoe must stretch in all directions to fit the users foot before the laces are tightened. The texture on the plastic and choice of fabric will reflect this issue.

This vehicle uses wind to move along at speeds in excess of 100mph. The current real-world record holding land sail has a similar layout and reaches 126mph on salt flats. The large sail on top pivots on front like a normal sail. As it is tightened against the wind the vehicle moves forward.

Staring from a simple black outline, I designed, colored and shaded the frame. It incorporates the carbon fiber by using the textured black to contrast the gradiented yellows.
